About us

 

CGLC is both an Illinois state and nationally accredited child care center licensed to care for 147 children.

​

We provide professional quality child care and preschool in a safe and nurturing Christian environment where children are nurtured and encouraged to grow - just like at home!

Programs

 

We offer programs for every age from 6 weeks until 12 years of age. 

​

Our programs emphasize age appropriate learning experiences that promote a child's natural curiosity and the development of self-help and communication skills, social competence, positive self-esteem and spiritual growth.

Parent Resources

 

We offer family support in various ways including a lending library and referrals to professional services.

Staff
​

Our staff is the heart of our organization.  Highly credentialed, they have many combined years of experience in early childhood.  Their qualifications meet or exceed the Illinois DCFS requirements.

​

​Every member is required to have 20 or more hours of continued early childhood education every year including annual training in CPR/First Aid, SIDs, and SBS.
